The Crown Ain't Heavy is here.

The Crown Ain't Heavy is here.

The Crown Ain't Heavy EP has been released in advance for bundle holders. If you were lucky enough to cop one and have heard it, let us know your favorite songs from the EP.

If you ordered a cd, those will all get packaged this week, and then they all will be shipped out on the same day.

Being independent isn't easy, but it's better than being a slave to other people's dreams.

Stones in the necklace is the hardest record I’ve heard period. Not just from Koopa but PERIOD. I’m sure the message went over a lot of people’s heads.

After listening to the EP a few times, I think I have my official ranking, bearing in mind that I like every song on it:

    1. Giddy Up
    2. Monopoly Go
    3. Green light
    4. Bring An Army
    5. Pressure
    6. Heavy
    7. Stones in the Necklace

I think Giddy Up is so unique, and the beat switch really reminds me of Radio Interruption from The Sound of Revenge.

Monopoly Go had the aggression in the verses and a catchy hook.

Green Light has grown on me each listen.

Bring An Army has such slick production and I just wish the “Bring An Army” part in the intro to the song was used as a hook, super catchy.

Pressure seems to be the most contemporary sounding track and has also grown on me.

Heavy serves a great intro and sets the tone.

Stones in the Necklace may need a few more plays. I think this is the only track that I like, but don’t love.

I like the cohesiveness of the monopoly and crown / kingdom references in all the tracks.

Looking forward to more dope music!
